伊朗水泥增產(chǎn)至四千萬噸

Iran cement production meets 40m ton in 2009
Iranian Minister of commerce Mohammad Shariatmadari said that given the large investments made in the sector, Iran's annual cement production will hit 40 mln ton.
Shariatmadari added, "In the coming years, we need to construct cement export terminals in order to export a surplus of 5 mln ton."
The Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Industries and Mines, have issued a joint directive under which cement-related issues within the next two years are envisaged for implementation. "However, in dealing with the affairs regarding cement we act in accordance with the directive," the Minister stated.
"There is a big gap between domestic prices of cement and global prices," the Minister noted, adding that according to the direction, the prices have to be unified.
He said that 30 mln ton of cement is currently produced in the country while annual domestic consumption stands at 31 mln ton.
To meet the shortage, Shariatmadari said 1.5 mln ton of cement would be imported by the end of the current year. The minister of commerce added that measures have been taken in advance to enable domestic cement companies to export cement in future.
“It is my opinion that during the next two years cement import will be inevitable because the demand is higher than supply until then,” Shariatmadari further explained.
